City Employment: Part-Time Admin. Asst. (Police Dept.)


The City of Sweeny is currently seeking applications for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant for the Police Department.  Duties to include, but not limited to: answering the phone, greeting visitors, filing/editing police reports, copy/fax/e-mail/scan documents, filing, payroll, budget, scheduling, and other misc. office management duties.  SEE JOB DESCRIPTION.

This is an Entry-Level position.  The salary is $7.25-$10.00 depending on experience and qualifications.  No benefits for this position; working 20 hours per week; flex schedule.  Applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screen.  Applicants must not have been convicted of any Class B Misdemeanor within the past 10 years; must not have been convicted of any Class A Misdemeanor or any grade felony ever.
